In this book design, the poem "A Happy Childhood" by William Matthews was interpreted through the careful juxtaposition between type and photography. Within the poem, Matthews writes of how an individual's memories of their childhood turns out to be a story that is constantly revised. The design is tied together through the polaroid pictures as the metaphor for the "memories" that a person has of their childhood.
